1. Who we are
CAREGVR™ is a caregiver-centered framework from Advocate Assignment, a non-profit dedicated to empowering patients and caregivers through education, support, and advocacy. This policy applies to the marketing website at caregvr.co (the “Site”).
2. What we collect on this Site
- Your email address (always)
- Your first name, last name, and role (only if you complete the waitlist profile step)
- UTM parameters, referring URL, and the path you landed on — to understand marketing channels
- Country derived from your IP at request time (we do not store your raw IP address)
- Your browser's User-Agent string
We do not collect medical records, protected health information (PHI), or health data on this Site.
3. Why we collect it
- To deliver the free Visit Companion guide you requested
- To send you waitlist updates and infrequent product news
- To understand which marketing channels are working, so we can reach more caregivers
4. Health-related data protections
The CAREGVR framework is educational content only, not medical advice. Advocate Assignment is not a “covered entity” under HIPAA with respect to this Site, because the Site does not itself process individually identifiable health information. If and when you sign up for the future CAREGVR application, a separate, stricter privacy notice will govern any personal health information you choose to enter there.
5. Who we share data with
- MailerLite — to deliver the guide email and manage our subscriber lists.
- Resend — to send transactional emails (e.g., waitlist confirmation).
- Supabase — our database provider, where your submission is stored.
- Vercel — our hosting + privacy-preserving analytics provider. No cross-site tracking, no advertising IDs.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertising networks.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your data at any time by emailing info@caregvr.co. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, GDPR applies. If you are in California, CCPA applies. Those laws give you rights including access, deletion, correction, and portability.
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email we send, or by emailing us.
7. Cookies
We use one first-party cookie named caregvr_attrib with a 30-day expiry to remember your first-touch marketing attribution. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookieless.
8. Children
This Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact info@caregvr.co and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will email current subscribers and update the effective date above.
